COVID-19 CORONA VIRUS PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE HEALTH & SAFETY

Dear valued customer, 

In this exceptional time of enormous scale and human impact re the outbreak of COVID-19 (novel CoronaVirus), all of us at Engineered Automotive feel deeply for those who have been impacted by this outbreak. We would also like to take this time to thank all first responders, medical staff, and all those part of Essential services standing strong during this pandemic.

As motor vehicle, auto-supply, auto, and motor-vehicle-repair, including bicycle repair, aircraft repair, heavy equipment repair, watercraft/marine craft repairs, car and truck dealerships, and related facilities is part of the ‘Essential’ list as deemed by the Government of Ontario(click HERE), Engineered Automotive wants to provide full transparency to make sure we provide a safe, healthy, and efficient environment for our team members, our partners, our customers, and the communities in which we operate. Safety and well being is our #1 priority! The main goal being the limitation of spreading the virus.

We have taken many steps to decrease risk and ensure the safety of our customers and employees: We are strongly encouraging customers to book their appointment online on our website at www.ea.works/service to minimize the amount of time you need to be in contact with our team members in our facility. If you feel unwell or are unable to keep your appointment, please call or email the shop to reschedule your visit. If you plan to visit, know that we are continuing to take precautions such as enhanced cleaning of our stores and encouraging strong hygiene practices among our team members. We are also enhancing cleaning and handling procedures (keys, documents, payment method, etc.) at all work stations, checkouts, and in common areas. Curbside check-in and check-out services are also available.Encouraging team members to practice social distancing, proper handwashing, and cough etiquette practices. When in our shop, please maintain a safe social distance of at least 2 meters from other individuals, including our team members who are serving you. Reinforcing socially responsible sick leave policies and requiring team members to stay home if sick.Implementing strict protocols for reporting illness, self-isolation and/or self-quarantine.Within our organization, we have limited all business travel and canceling and restricting team members from participating in non-essential meetings or functions. We are also promoting everyday preventative behaviors with our team with continuous corporate communication based on public updates re COVID-19.We will also continue to take precautions and be guided by recommendations made by the Public Health Agency of Canada and local health authorities. 

Please note: The Federal and Provincial Government and Public Health leaders have recommended that all travelers returning to Canada MUST self-isolate for 14 days.
